From 2017 to 2023, she was responsible for the management and implementation of the Sustainability Strategy of Bank BNP Paribas, the creation of the Sustainability area in the bank, the introduction of integrated reporting as well as the development of the area of sustainable finance and the creation of a competence center for structuring sustainable products. Attorney with over fifteen years of professional experience. She specializes in Polish and EU environmental law, natural resources, and ESG regulations. She advises companies on regulatory aspects, litigation, investment projects and environmental aspects of real estate transactions, M&A transactions and financing processes. For the past six years Agnieszka Skorupińska has worked with an international law firm, where she headed the Environmental Law Practice in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe, and coordinated ESG activities at the Central and Eastern European level.

As counsel, she has successfully advised companies in the energy, chemical, construction, waste management, FMCG, water and wastewater, renewable energy, mining, automotive, apparel, real estate and food sectors, among others. She has successfully represented clients in administrative and judicial proceedings concerning environmental law for many years.

Agnieszka Skorupińska is also Chair of the Working Group on the Application of Taxonomy at the Ministry of Development and Technology and Vice-Chair of the ESG Committee at the National Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of the group supporting work on the draft European Sustainable Reporting Standards (ESRS) for listed small and medium-sized enterprises at EFRAG.

Sustainability specialist, she provides communication and consulting support to businesses going green, popularizes the goals of the UN agenda, helps implement sustainable business and ESG concepts, promotes and supports green attitudes among employers. Founder and CEO at Go Green. Founder of the Citizens of Nature Foundation. Member of: the ESG committee of the National Chamber of Commerce, the Renewable Energy Council and the Clean Air Council of the Lewiatan Confederation, hydrogen, buildings and transportation groups. She was director of the Warsaw Greenery Board, where she directly supervised the following departments: public procurement, public communication, property management, legal, human resources and internal organization. Reloop Platform is a global organization the vision of which is world without waste pollution.  With education and 18-year experience in value creating waste management, Anna Larsson is an international expert in sustainable resource management promoting ambitious, nationwide, and cost-efficient Circular Economy models based on secondary materials.

A manager with over 20 years of experience. She is a specialist in the area of management and communication. Previously, the General Manager of Campiri Poland, launching one of the region's largest online campervan booking platforms in Poland and Slovakia. At Cenatorium-Inplus Group, as Operations Director, she was responsible for international projects, cooperation with partners, and the administrative and human resources area. During her career, she also headed the Partnership and Communication Department of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency. The former advisor to the board of directors at the Poland Cashless Foundation. Graduate of Journalism and Social Communication at the University of Warsaw and Human Resource Management at the School of Promotion. Graduate of the Vital Voices mentoring program. Volunteer and social activist.

Her group studies the mechanisms, processes, and principles that give rise to biological diversity and ecosystem function in a changing world. Her training is in demographic modeling and actuarial statistics, and her work is motivated by core principles in life-history theory. Her work is multidisciplinary and focused on developing collaborative research to synthesize and communicate robust science that can be used to inform the global restoration movement. Lalasia received her Ph.D. in 2017 at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and then did a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Tennessee. From 2019-2020, she held a joint appointment as a Research Assistant Professor at the U. of Tennessee Knoxville and the National Institute for Mathematical and Biological Synthesis. In 2020, she moved to ETH Zürich to lead the Fundamental Ecology Group in the Crowther Lab.  In addition to her academic background, Lalasia has nine years of management experience running conservation monitoring programs and leading large-scale restoration efforts in Hawaii. 

She is scientifically concerned with intra-psychic and environmental factors affecting human mental health. In recent years, she has focused on the relationship of a sense of community with nature (nature connectedness) with mental health,nature-based interventions and the mechanisms of influence of so-called "green therapy" on human mental well-being.

Research and teaching fellow at the Institute of Psychology at the Maria Grzegorzewska Academy of Special Education in Warsaw. She has cooperated scientifically and didactically with the Piastów Śląskich Medical University in Wroclaw, SWPS University in Wroclaw, as well as the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Warsaw.

She has authored and co-authored more than 60 national and international publications, including the first Polish scientific monograph on the relationship between nature and mental health ("Nature and Mental Health," 2022). She carries out scientific research projects in the field of psychology and psychiatry. She regularly presents her work at national and international conferences.

Involved in the activities of the World Psychitric Association network (Climate Change/ Total Health Initiative), Member of the Committee on Climate Psychiatry of the Polish Psychiatric Association, reviewer in international scientific journals, popularizer of knowledge on mental health. Clinically, she works with individuals and couples experiencing mental disorders and psychosexual problems.

Graduate of the Faculty of Management and Mini MBA managerial studies at the University of Lodz. In addition, he is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, where he completed the Annual Postgraduate Management Studies with distinction. For many years he has been involved in the topics of social responsibility and sustainable development and non-financial reporting.

Member of the team, within the Association of Stock Exchange Issuers, which developed the Non-Financial Information Standard (SIN), which enables Polish companies to meet their non-financial information reporting obligations. In addition, he is a member of the University's Social Responsibility Working Group operating within the Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility Team at the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy.

At the Warsaw School of Economics, he serves as head of the Sustainability and ESG Team and secretary of the Rector's Commission for Social Responsibility at SGH. 

Doctor of economics, assistant professor at the Warsaw School of Economics. Expert in macroeconomics, labor market and public policy evaluation with a strong analytical background. Author and co-author of publications in this area, participant in international research and policymaking projects. In the past, she has been associated, among other things, with the third sector, most recently working as chief economist for the Lewiatan Confederation.

Borys D. Sawicki specializes in banking and finance, focusing on investment finance transactions, including project finance, particularly in the energy, infrastructure and real estate sectors. He actively supports clients on issues related to sustainable transformation and sustainable financing, including assessing business compliance with the EU taxonomy and reporting on sustainability issues.

She will head the green representative office of the Heinrich Böll Foundation in Warsaw, which implements projects in Poland and the Baltic countries, starting in October 2019. She studied German, Slavic and Spanish philology at Karls-Eberhardt-Universität in Tübingen. Before devoting herself to journalism professionally, she was a researcher at the Department of Economics and Business Law at the Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Umwelt in Geislingen/Steige. After journalism school in Munich, she worked as an editor and political commentator at the Südwest Presse (economics and economics section) in Ulm, the Märkische Oderzeitung in Frankfurt/Oder and the Neue Berliner Redaktionsgesellschaft (political section) in Berlin. Her commitment to diversity - including in the media - led her to the NGO - Neue deutsche Medienmacher, which advocates for diversity in the media and ensures that texts and articles are produced with sensitivity to cultural diversity. There she was a member of the board of directors and managed media projects.

Joanna Maria Stolarek continues to publish in various media, taking into account the Polish-German point of view, commenting on current political events in both countries, trying to explain Poland to Germans and Germany to Poles. She voluntarily supports the development of women in media and politics as a mentor.

Doctor of Economics in the field of management and quality, graduate of the School of Economics in Warsaw. She is Deputy Head of the Inter-University Climate Academy Postgraduate Program. Author and co-author of publications on risk management in the context of sustainability and supply chain. She is currently the stream leader of a project on the impact of the quality of management of ESG aspects on the resilience of companies (research grant at the College of Business Administration of the Warsaw School of Economics) and the head of the study "Climate risk Climate Risk in Investment Decisions" (research grant at the College of Business Sciences SGH).

Business practitioner and advisor with many years of experience. She is director of ESG at CVI Dom Brokerage Sp. z o.o.

Long-time practitioner in supporting entrepreneurs. Graduate of Jagiellonian University and Postgraduate Studies at the Warsaw School of Economics in Human Resource Management. She developed her first professional experience as the right hand of the director of one of the largest hospitals in Warsaw, where she learned the ins and outs of the challenges of managing an organization in a way that required reconciling opposing interest groups. 

For many years, she has represented the entrepreneurial self-government in the role of an expert in economic and legal topics concerning the establishment and operation of businesses, labor law and social security. She has worked her way up through the various levels in a large organization such as the Polish Chamber of Commerce - from expert, to project-manager, to Spokesman, to Director of the President's Office, to Director General of the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce. She actively participates in the lawmaking processes in Poland - in parliament, ministries, public administration bodies. She has successfully prepared and implemented projects financed by EU funds. She advises entrepreneurs and is a guest of various media in advocating the interests of entrepreneurs.

Since 2017, she has headed the largest amicable court for entrepreneurs in Poland. On a daily basis, she interacts with the challenges faced by micro, small, medium and large entrepreneurs in the course of doing business. He is a member of the Jury of the "Golden Clips" competition. He is the co-author of a number of publications in the field of, among others, business advocacy, business conduct and anti-corruption.

Clarissa Morawski co-founded the Reloop Platform in 2015, (headquartered in Brussels and New York) – an international not-for-profit which combines expertise, scientific analysis and engagement with value-chain networks to better define, communicate and deploy circular economy policies and operations.

Clarissa Morawski brings 30 years of technical, analytical and communications experience in waste minimization policy. She has authored more than 100 articles and cover stories on Extended Producer Responsibility and circular economy for recycling publications and taught waste management at Trent University (Canada) from 2010-2015. More recently, in her role as Reloop CEO, Clarissa Morawski has been actively engaged in waste and circular economy policy development at European Union level.

Doctor of Engineering in the discipline of environmental engineering, specializing in water resources management including flood, drought and river ecosystem protection and restoration (river restoration). He is qualified to perform hydrological documentation issued in 2007.

President of the Healthy River Foundation (d. Hectares For Nature), expert on surface water restoration at the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management - PIB, coordinator of the WaterLANDS project at the Center for Wetland Conservation. Independent expert cooperating with the scientific and research community and NGOs, i.e. WWF Poland, Sendzimir Foundation, Shipyard Foundation or Clean Baltic Coalition.

She has extensive experience related to the preparation of key methodologies, analyses and databases for the development of water management plans, drought mitigation, flood risk management and their updates, and in conducting public consultations in this area.

Co-author of a number of expert reports, studies and planning works in the field of water management carried out since 2003. Coordinator and manager of a number of projects carried out for the benefit of water administration in Poland, including the project entitled "Development of the National Program for Restoration of Surface Waters" indicating the need and scope for taking action to improve hydromorphology for Polish rivers, lakes and coastal waters. Co-author of the concept on wetland restoration: Program and Spatial Concept of hydrotechnical structures on the Łasica and Zaborowski Canal within the Kampinos WetLIFE project, and the Concept of functional connection of the Drzewiczka and Wąglanka rivers and their valleys with the public space of Opoczno.

She has co-authored a number of publications on water issues, including recent ones on good practices in water management and surface water renaturalization.

In addition to her expertise, she is skilled in planning and leading projects, as well as building and coordinating project teams. Certified Project Manager - PRINCE2® Practitioner.

The topic of migration has long interested her, and she has written about labor migration from post-Soviet Central Asia to Russia and refugees from these areas in Poland. She is the author of the book "Worse Children of the Republic. On Algerians in France" (Wyd. Czarne 2020). The topic of migration is also present in her latest book, "Rebels of Afghanistan" (WAB 2022), about the fate of Afghan women's rights activists who had to flee Afghanistan after the Taliban seized power.

A graduate in theater studies and law, she has been professionally involved in external communications and relationship building for more than a dozen years; she has been with the Survivor Foundation since 2016; she has been providing humanitarian assistance to people on the road on the Polish-Belarusian border since 2021 as a volunteer.

Lawyer and Arabist, manager of the legal team of the Ocalenie Foundation. Provides legal assistance to migrants and refugees in Warsaw and Lodz.

Previously, she was energy and climate analyst in the Global Issues Programme of the Polish Institute of International Affairs. Her research interests focus in particular on energy security issues, as well as multilateral climate diplomacy. A graduate of The Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po) and the College of Europe in Bruges.

She works in the Department of Risk Management at the Institute of Corporate and Investment Finance in the College of Business Administration of the Warsaw School of Economics. She has authored and co-authored publications on logistics, purchasing and supply chain management and is an expert in these fields speaking at conferences at home and abroad. In her scientific and research work, she attaches high importance to in-depth cooperation with the business community. He is currently heading a research project at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) on “The quality of ESG aspects management and resilience to crises. Enterprises - financial institutions - local government units”. The most recent co-authored publication in this area is “Sustainable transformation. State and determinants in the context of ESG”. He is a lecturer in undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programs at the Warsaw School of Economics.

Dr. Anna Gorska is an assistant professor at Kozminski University and director of the Center for the Study of Women and Diversity in Organizations. She specializes in gender and diversity issues in organizations, particularly universities.

Dr. Górska has led and participated in numerous national and international grants funded by the National Science Center, EU Funds and Norwegian Funds. She has published in prestigious international journals such as Gender, Work and Organization, Gender in Management, Information & Management, Accounting, Auditing & Accountability Journal, Journal of Global Information Technology Management. Her latest book, Gender and Academic Career Development in Central and Eastern Europe, was published by Routledge. She currently serves as co-editor of Tamara Journal together with Prof. Monika Kotera. She gained international experience at Columbia Business School (as part of a Fulbright award) and ESCP Business School.

She began her professional career in 1999 at Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. in the Retail Banking Sector, and pursued her career in Enterprise Banking Division, holding various leadership roles in the Bank’s regional structures, including the position of Sales Director for the Northern Region and in the Public Sector Department as Director of the Public Sector Office for Regions. In 2018, she started working at Bank Pekao S.A. as Managing Director in the Enterprise Banking Division, and in December 2018, she was appointed to the position of Vice President of the Management Board of the Bank. With over twenty years of experience in the banking industry, she has gained expertise in both general banking operations, including sales, risk, operations, and the foreign-currency market, and across various customers segments, such as retail clients, SMEs, large companies, institutional clients, the public sector and international corporations. In 2016-2017, she managed the Enterprise Banking Division within the CEEMEA Commercial Banking Group at Citigroup. She also led the activities of the Strategy Champions Group at Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A.

Member of the Supervisory Board of Pekao Leasing Sp. z o.o. since January 2019. Vice-Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of Pekao Factoring Sp. z o.o. since December 2018, and Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of the company since March 2021.

She is the Chairwoman of the Council of the Polish Bank Association for Micro, Small, and Medium Entrepreneurs, as well as a member of the Business Council of the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw, in the Team for Executive Education - Executive MBA@UW.

Magdalena Zmitrowicz is the initiator of the ‘No sugar’ program - a development project for women working at Bank Pekao S.A. One of the first projects initiated by its participants was the creation of a nationwide networking platform called the ‘Women's Network’, coordinated by leaders from all regions of the country. In 2023, Magdalena Zmitrowicz became an ambassador of the EU Women in Finance program run by Bloomberg.

In March this year, Magdalena Zmitrowicz was the winner in the SME Banker of the Year category in the competition of the international organization Qorus, recognized for her exceptional contribution to the development of SME banking, long-term support for companies, and above-average results compared to the sector. Last year, she was awarded the Nicolaus Copernicus Medal from the Polish Bank Association for her achievements in the development of bank financing of the SME sector.

Magdalena Zmitrowicz is a graduate of the University of Gdańsk, postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Management of the University of Gdańsk, Executive MBA (EMBA) at the University of Warsaw and Global CEO Program at the Wharton School of Pennsylvania. She has completed numerous trainings in Poland and abroad, including in credit risk management, financial analysis and sales. In 2013, she graduated from the Commercial Credit College in New York City as part of Citigroup.

Chief Sustainability Officer at UNEP/GRID-Warsaw, where he is responsible for projects related to the triple planetary crisis (biodiversity, pollution, climate change) as well as sustainable cities. Long-time board member and president of the association Polish Forum ISO 14000 Club, currently Polish Forum for Environmental Management (until VI.2023). Lecturer at Kozminski University.

Involved in work on the UNEP Global Environment Outlook 6 report, for which she was awarded 2020 Prose Awards (Association of American Publishers Awards for Professional and Scholarly Excellence) in the environmental science category. Kinga Gruszecka serves as the President of the Polish Space Professionals Association (PSPA), with a rich background in supporting space technology development and education.

During her tenure as the Director of Education at POLSA from 2019 to 2021, she focused on training and nurturing talent for the space industry. Her expertise spans satellite communications, Earth observation, and other critical aspects of space exploration. She has received numerous accolades, including the “Hope of the Polish Space Sector” award in the "Konstelacje competition" (2019) and recognition as one of the “TOP100 Space & Aerospace Professionals to Follow on LinkedIn” (2023).

Kinga Gruszecka holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations and cultural studies and a master’s degree in management. Her commitment to continuous learning led her to complete postgraduate studies in leadership and organizational culture at the Leon Koźmiński Academy (ALK). Notably, she also lectured in postgraduate programs focused on entrepreneurship in the space sector at ALK.

In 2023, Dr. Gruszecka was honored with a fellowship from the U.S. Department of State and participated in the Distinguished Humphrey Fellowship Program. Her unwavering dedication to the space industry began in 2016, and she continues to be a driving force in advancing space exploration and innovation.

Graduate of the Master's degree in Logistics Systems and Processes Design from the School of Logistics. He gained professional experience in shaping logistics networks and their improvement while working in Poland in logistics departments of companies such as Hennes and Mauritz (H&M), Yusen Logistics Europe Ltd and DHL and Exception PCB Solutions in the UK. He has a research and practical focus on measuring the carbon footprint of Low Carbon Supply Chains and the practical application of Lean Management elements in logistics networks. At Poznan Institute of Technology, he is a coordinator of consulting projects for companies and research projects.

Almost from the very beginning of the organization's establishment, she actively participated in the creation of the Polish branch, the implementation of key projects in Poland, and in activities at the European level through close cooperation with the headquarters in Brussels and European regional offices.

She has extensive experience in conducting image, educational and promotional campaigns related to plastics and the plastics industry. She has gained professional experience as a journalist and editor in the trade press, as well as a technical-legislative manager in an association in the FMCG industry, among others. A chemist by education, she holds a doctorate in technical sciences (polymer technology), which she earned at the Faculty of Chemistry of Warsaw University of Technology. She also completed Postgraduate Studies in Social Communication and Media organized by the Foundation for the Popularization of Science and the Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

She heads the Sustainable Development Team at the Polish Economic Institute, with which she has been affiliated since 2019. She has authored and co-authored reports on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals by Polish companies, the middle class in Poland, the economic and social costs of spatial chaos, unconditional basic income, among others. She gained analytical experience while working in the "Public Goods through Private Eyes" project implemented at the University of Warsaw under the 7th EU Framework Program. She has authored scientific publications on topics including the impact of electoral quotas on women's political representation and the impact of ethnic diversity on the quality of public goods.

Statistician - graduate of the School of Economics. He has more than 20 years of analytical experience as an economist or chief economist in the financial sector. He worked at Bank Handlowy in Warsaw, Bank Ochrony Środowiska, and the Export Credit Insurance Corporation. He also has experience in management. He was chairman of the board of the Export Credit Insurance Corporation and undersecretary of state at the Ministry of Finance, responsible for macroeconomic analysis, public debt management and financial market development. In his professional and private life, he considers his curiosity about the world to be the most important, and in pursuing this curiosity - ever since his high school days (IX Hoffman High School in Warsaw) - he considers mathematics, geography and history to be the most useful. He listens to rather heavy music.

She represents clients in administrative proceedings concerning unreliable environmental statements (greenwashing) and advises in the ESG area. She deals with competition and consumer protection law, both from a transactional and litigation perspective. She advises on cases regarding merger control of entrepreneurs, anti-competitive practices and collective interests of consumers.

Weronika Nalbert is an expert in Climate Leadership program realised by UNEP/GRID-Warszawa. She has been a speaker at numerous national and international conferences on the topic of sustainable development. She was a lecturer on post-graduate studies: Sustainability & ESG Manager realised by WSB Merito in Wrocław. She is member of the ESG committee of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association, an international legal organization. She completed the pilot course Key Essentials: the Sustainable Development Goals and the Law organized by the University of Cambridge and Business and Human Rights Summer School organized by Human Rights International Corner.

She has gained professional experience in national and international law firms and NGOs.

Weronika is involved in social activities. Since 2019, she has served as Vice President of the NGO United Nations Association - Poland, where she conducts numerous trainings on sustainable development.

Jan Zalasiewicz is Emeritus Professor of Palaeobiology at the University of Leicester, previously of the British Geological Survey, and currently chairs the Anthropocene Working Group. A field geologist, palaeontologist and stratigrapher, interests include Early Palaeozoic fossils and rocks, the Quaternary Ice Ages and the geology made by humans. He is a co-editor of The Anthropocene as a Geological Time Unit: A Guide to the Scientific Evidence and Current Debate (2019). Books he has written or co-written include The Earth After Us (2008), The Planet in a Pebble (2010), The Goldilocks Planet (2012), Ocean Worlds (2014), Skeletons (2018), The Cosmic Oasis (2022) and Discarded: How Technofossils Will Be Our Ultimate Legacy (2024, in press).

Hans Goossens from Belgium, who has a PhD in  Chemistry, is the Director-General of De Watergroep since January 1, 2017. He is leading Belgium’s largest public water company through a major transformation, setting up new structures and alliances to build climate resilient water services. A strong believer of innovation and co-operation, Hans has been a board member of Water Europe since 2017, and serving as its President since June 2022. Before joining the water sector, he has been working in the global fertilizer industry for almost 25 years. He held various management positions for Norsk Hydro and Yara International in Belgium, The Netherlands, Norway, France, and Italy within R&D, Production, Bussines Development, Marketing & Sales and General Management. Throughout his professional journey, Hans became passionate about sustainable development of business and society, in particular in relation to the global water challenge.

Sylwia Palgan is an experienced professional in sustainability and compliance, with roles spanning multiple global organizations. She currently serves as the Sustainability Sourcing Lead at Atlas Copco, where she manages supply chain due diligence and the Responsible Sourcing Program. She is also a Climate Leadership Expert, contributing to projects on ESG education and legislation. Sylwia has held significant positions at DeLaval, TCL Communication, Castorama, and Kingfisher plc, focusing on product compliance, ESG management, and sustainable development.

Sylwia holds a postgraduate diploma in ESG management and master’s degree in environmental science.
