First meeting of the GREENPACT Congress Programme Council
The First Meeting of the Programme Council of the GREENPACT European ESG Summit took place on the 28th of March at the headquarters of the Polish Chamber of Commerce. Representatives of the Council summarised last year's edition of the event and, based on that, offered their suggestions and comments on the programme of debates and discussions, which aim to build a broad coalition of stakeholders for sustainable transformation.
The premiere edition of the GREENPACT congress brought together the most important experts on sustainable development in the country. For this reason, the Programme Council unanimously concluded that one of the most important tasks remains maintaining the high substantive level of the event and creating a programme that responds to the challenges and needs of business and entrepreneurs.
- Thank you for this cooperation and for taking up the challenge together, simply because I think that the synergy between our two institutions has caused the event to resonate in the industry. (...) On 24-25 November, we will revisit it and include issues related to start-ups in the ESG industry; we will talk about investments, but also about current regulations, announced Filip Bittner, Vice-President of the Management Board of the Grupa MTP.
The experts attending the meeting also pointed out the need to prepare practical tools and present a comprehensive overview of the ideas behind the event. The second edition of the GREENPACT European ESG Summit will also address the economic situation in Poland, Europe and the world, and address legislative changes.
- We want to build a strong coalition of all stakeholders involved in sustainable development around this event, just like we did for the first edition, keeping in mind that we can only achieve our goals by working together. (...) We are immensely proud that last year's edition brought together the vast majority of the country's top experts on sustainable development, but we want to go beyond this model and reach out primarily to entrepreneurs who need to implement these changes in their strategies, added Karolina Opielewicz, Member of the Board of the Polish Chamber of Commerce.
The GREENPACT Congress Programme Council consists of an experienced team of experts, including prominent business figures, investors, researchers and representatives of public administration.
