What's GREENPACT?

Share

The GREENPACT Congress is a space where visions of the future meet real action. Business leaders, experts and decision-makers from across Europe will debate how to combine the green transition with building a competitive economy and reducing social inequalities. Previously known as the ESG European Summit, this year the event will operate under the new name GREENPACT.

Participants can look forward to inspiring panels on financing the energy transition, new tax solutions such as Green VAT, deregulation as the key to innovation, and the potential of hydrogen technologies in heavy industry. We will also discuss the future of the European automotive industry, water resilience, the revitalisation of post-industrial areas, and what really poses the greatest threat to the environment.

There will also be topics such as ESG, business partnerships with NGOs and local governments, and the development of green competencies that have a real impact on company performance. Participants will learn about practical tools and strategies that allow them to minimise their carbon footprint, design waste-free production, and use environmental data as a competitive advantage.

This event is for those who want to stay one step ahead of change and work together to create a new, sustainable Europe. That's why it's worth booking your place at the event now!

Challenges

What does the true face of green transformation look like? This path will take participants on a journey through the most difficult questions: how to bring about fair change without exacerbating inequalities, how to revitalise post-mining areas, and what to do to make production waste-free? We will tackle climate misinformation, barriers to electrification and raw material dilemmas, considering whether every industry can become sustainable and who is really saving the climate today – business, the state or civil society?

Perspective

What does the future look like for an economy in which sustainable development is becoming a key factor in competitiveness? In this track, we will show why companies want to be sustainable, what role the Single Market will play, and whether deregulation can accelerate the green transition. We will talk about the power of partnerships between business, NGOs and local governments, the future of the European automotive industry, and the climate ambitions that set the direction for the entire continent.

Development

The future of industry lies in innovation, courage and new financing models. This track will explore the potential of hydrogen in heavy industry, the role of sustainable materials in construction, and the possibilities for creating environmentally friendly products. We will also address the key question: how to ensure cheap and green energy for all and how to meet ambitious decarbonisation targets in a rapidly changing world?

Environment

How can we effectively protect our planet? This path explores what really threatens ecosystems – not only carbon footprints, but also biodiversity loss, poor water resource management, and air and soil pollution. Participants will learn about the latest tools and solutions that support the circular economy and protect the environment for future generations.

Financing

Transformation requires financing– and this track will show you how to obtain it. From green funds supporting pollution reduction, through circular economy investment models, to financial instruments for water and biodiversity protection – here you will learn about the mechanisms that turn ambitious visions into real business projects.

Technologies

This track is for those who believe that the future is driven by innovation. We will discover technologies that support decarbonisation, smart water management, recycling and eco-design. We will show how environmental data is becoming a valuable business resource and how science supports biodiversity conservation, opening up new opportunities for development in the spirit of sustainable progress.

Legislation

Europe is drawing up a roadmap for green transition – this path will help you understand it. Participants will learn about the most important legislative initiatives, from the Clean Industrial Deal and the Circular Economy Act to strategies for transport, agriculture and the raw materials economy. It is a compass for companies that want to be ready for new regulations and stay ahead of upcoming changes.
