Over 30 years of scientific, research and teaching experience related to the broadly understood energy efficiency of buildings, gained at the Silesian University of Technology. Author and co-author of dozens of foreign and domestic publications. Speaker at numerous conferences and seminars organised in Poland and abroad.

In the field of sustainable construction, she is particularly involved in the decarbonisation of construction, circularity, energy assessment and environmental aspects of buildings (Life Cycle Assessment, LCA). Responsible for the substantive aspects of national and international projects implemented by PLGBC. She is an ambassador for the energy transition in the construction sector. She is the author and coordinator of the first Polish certificate for residential construction, ZIELONY DOM (GREEN HOUSE). She also deals with the subject of TAXONOMY, adapting it to guidelines that allow for the assessment of construction investments in the context of their compliance with EU taxonomy guidelines.

For years, she has been coordinating and initiating activities for the development of innovation, competitiveness and business cooperation between enterprises and scientific institutions within the Circular Economy and Recycling Cluster. She pays particular attention to the implementation of solutions related to the circular economy and recycling. She served as deputy chair of the Sectoral Council for Competences in the Raw Materials Recovery Sector, where she co-authored recommendations for the development of competences in the industry. She is an expert in the Climate Leadership programme (UNEP/GRID-Warsaw Centre) and the author of numerous publications on recycling, waste management and sustainable development. As an expert, she participates in consultations and reviews legal acts, strategies and plans concerning waste management and circular economy. She combines expert knowledge with practical experience in working with business, public administration and the scientific community.

He participates in the work of ENTSO-E, a pan-European organisation of electricity transmission system operators.
On 1 January 2018, he was elected to serve as a member of the Digital Committee of ENTSO-E, and on 1 January 2020, he was appointed Vice-Chair of the committee. As CIO since 1 July 2022, he represented PSE S.A. as a member of the new ICT Committee.
This year, he was elected by the ENTSO-E authorities and has been Chairman of the ICT Committee since 26 June 2025.

Since January 2024, he has been an ordinary member of the Polish Committee of Large Networks and CIGRE, where he participates in the work of the D2 Study Committee.

He began his professional career as a programmer, designer and constructor of industrial automation control systems in Germany. He then implemented various IT systems in Polish institutions, companies and large corporations. Since 2000, in successive positions, he has held the position of IT manager in Poland or in the region.

Grzegorz Bojar has experience in managing ICT in large international corporations as well as in Polish state-owned companies.

Throughout his career, he has led business projects related to system design – from assumptions and objectives, budgeting, process analysis, and resource allocation – through system implementation – to the development and stabilisation of operating procedures. He has been involved in building IT strategies, organising and reorganising IT services, and stabilising services provided by ICT departments. He has experience in creating and managing organisations and enterprises.

Recently, he has been heavily involved in the areas of strategic IT management and cybersecurity.

He is a graduate of the Faculty of Electronics at the Warsaw University of Technology, specialising in automation.

Zenon Foltynowicz, economist (professor of economics, PhD in chemistry), retired full professor at the Poznań University of Economics; in 1999-2005, vice-dean, and in 2005-2012, dean of the Faculty of Commodity Science at the Poznań University of Economics.

He has 50 years of experience in catalysis, materials chemistry, and packaging, specializing in sustainable development, product and industrial ecology, waste management, plastic recycling, and new materials for packaging. His achievements include over 200 publications (including 60 publications in journals with Impact Factor) and chapters in monographs, and he has delivered approximately 180 conference presentations. His innovative research has resulted in 33 Polish and 5 international patents, including in the field of plastic recycling and used wind turbine blades. He has supervised sixteen doctoral students and over 200 master's students. He was the main contractor in the international LIFE+ and Eureka programs. He has managed national projects, and the SpinTech Project has resulted in the creation of a special purpose vehicle at the Poznań University of Economics. He has completed postdoctoral research internships at many foreign research centers and participated in the “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” program at Stanford University (Stanford Center for Professional Development) as part of the “Top500 Innovators” program, supported by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Member of the working group on the development of non-financial reporting operating under the Minister of Finance and the working group on due diligence operating under the Minister of Funds and Regional Policy. Bartosz Kwiatkowski was recognized by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna as one of the 25 most influential lawyers of 2023.

She is a certified auditor and Associate Partner at UHY Poland, an auditing firm belonging to the international network UHY International.

She has practical knowledge and extensive experience in auditing financial statements. She has audited the financial statements of companies with foreign capital, companies listed on the Stock Exchange and companies listed on NewConnect. As a consultant, she designed and implemented a process for preparing non-financial information for a company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. She also supported the client in subsequent years of non-financial reporting in the area of data collection and reporting. Currently, she deals exclusively with issues related to sustainable development, primarily certification, but also consulting and supporting companies in the preparation of ESG reporting in accordance with the CSRD directive and the EU Taxonomy.

She actively works on behalf of SMEs, promoting among the largest companies the need to take responsibility for their smaller partners. She is the originator and organiser of the GreenPact European ESG Summit. It was on her initiative that the KIG established the ESG School and undertook many activities to support entrepreneurs in the green transition. Irena Pichola has been associated with the Forum since 2002. She has been a member of the board since 2005 and served as vice-president from 2024 to 2025. She currently chairs the FOB board. She is also chair of the Chapter Zero Poland Steering Committee.

Irena is the founder and CEO of Artha Consulting Network. She has over 20 years of professional experience in ESG strategic consulting. She has led complex projects for clients from various industries, including ESG strategy implementation, ESG stakeholder relationship analysis, strategic planning to promote sustainable investment, and energy efficiency strategy implementation. In recent years, she has led Deloitte's Sustainability Consulting team in Central Europe, overseeing and managing a team of 140 experts from 18 countries in the region. At Deloitte, she was also the global leader for public sector sustainability and a member of the team dedicated to working with EU institutions in the area of sustainability.

Irena is actively involved in the work of international organisations dealing with sustainability issues, such as GRI, WBCSD and CSR Europe. She represents FOB at business and economic events in Poland and abroad, as well as in the media.

In 2021, she was honoured as one of the 25 leaders of sustainable development in Poland.

For 29 years, a researcher at the Institute of Ecology of Industrial Areas (IETU), until February 2022, IETU Lead Expert in the field of Soil Remediation, Nature-Based Solutions and Urban Agriculture, since September 2020 Scientific Secretary of IETU, since March 2022 Director of IETU.

Education: Doctor of Technical Sciences in Environmental Engineering, Habilitated Doctor of Agricultural Sciences in the field of agricultural, forestry and veterinary sciences in the discipline of environmental protection and shaping, Professor in the discipline of environmental engineering, mining and energy. Specialisation: environmental biotechnology, environmental engineering and protection, environmental ecotoxicology. In 2011-2022, she headed the research area of Soil Remediation, NBS and Urban Agriculture at IETU, conducting research within national and international projects on phytoremediation (phytoextraction, phytostabilisation) of soils contaminated with heavy metals, assessment of phytotoxicity of substrates for plants, creation of plant cover in contaminated areas and substitute substrates from waste materials. Currently, she focuses on research on the use of energy crops in soil remediation processes and the use of biomass as an energy source. She is a member of the Presidium of the Committee for Environmental Protection and Waste Management of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Environmental Protection Programme Committee of the University of Silesia, and the International Phytotechnological Society. Her scientific achievements include over 90 publications. From September 2019 to January 2022, she was a member of the Management Board of the Horizon Europe 2021-2027 Framework Programme Mission in the area of ‘Clean Soil and Food’ (‘Soil Health and Food’), and in 2020-2021 she was an expert in two European Commission EIP AGRI focus groups: ‘Protecting agricultural soils from contamination’ and ‘Sustainable industrial crops in Europe’. Since 2020, she has been an expert at the Ministry of Education and Science, supporting Poland's participation in a new European partnership under the Horizon Europe Programme, ‘Joint Undertaking for a Circular Bioeconomy in Europe’.

Doctor of Economics specializing in business management. Graduate of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, majoring in Law and Management at the Faculty of Law and Administration. Long-term research and teaching staff member at the University of Economics in Poznań and academic lecturer at the WSB University and Jagiellonian College. Author of several dozen scientific publications in the field of management. She gained her management experience in managerial positions, mainly in large manufacturing companies with Polish and foreign capital. She conducts training and business consulting in the field of management processes. She is a certified Design Thinking moderator and a certified PM Agile. She currently serves as Director of the Sustainable Development Office at the Energa Capital Group (Energa SA from the PKN Orlen group), where she is responsible for implementing new EU regulations in the field of sustainable development, ESG ratings, sustainable development reporting, taxonomic reporting, and the implementation of the 2030 Agenda's Sustainable Development Goals. She is also responsible for cooperation with external partners, such as the UN Global Compact and PKEE. She is a member of the ESG Committee at the Polish Chamber of Commerce, the Working Group for the improvement of ESG reporting among Polish companies at the Ministry of Finance, a member of the Responsible Business Forum, and a member of the Association of Independent Supervisory Board Members.

Stefano Soro was born in Genoa, Italy. He holds a degree in Management and Economics from Università Bocconi, Milan.

After working in the HR department of a multinational company, he joined the European Commission in 1994, serving in a variety of posts in Eurostat, the Enterprise and Industry DG, the Secretariat-General and the Health and Consumers DG, where from 2006 to 2011 he headed the unit responsible for non-food consumer safety. From 2012 to 2016 he was the Head of the "Medicinal products - quality, safety and efficacy" Unit and then of the “Animal nutrition, veterinary medicines” Unit.

Stefano joined the Internal Market, Industry Entrepreneurship and SMEs DG as Head of the "Food Industry" Unit in 2017. Since 1st May 2025 he is the Head of the DG’s new Sustainable Products Unit.

Since 2024, Director of Regulation and Sustainable Development, and previously, for 19 years, Director of Scientific and Legislative Affairs at the Polish Cosmetics Industry Association.

She is responsible for coordinating the organisation's technical and regulatory activities: preparing positions, monitoring industry legislative work at national and international level, the association's participation in public consultations in Poland and Europe, the work of working groups within the organisation, preparing educational materials for entrepreneurs in the cosmetics industry, scientific and technical and legislative advice for member companies, and substantive cooperation with the trade press and training institutions. Since 2018, she has also been the leader of the environmental agenda – first the Plastics Strategy, now the Green Deal and sustainable development.

A graduate of the Faculty of Chemistry at the Warsaw University of Technology, Postgraduate Studies in Cosmetic Chemistry, numerous toxicology and sustainable development courses, including Specialist in the circular economy of plastic packaging (Pack Alliance) and postgraduate studies ‘ESG Manager. Managing Director of Plastics Europe Polska. Almost from the moment the organisation was established, she has been actively involved in setting up the Polish branch, implementing key projects in Poland and in activities at European level through close cooperation with the headquarters in Brussels and European regional offices.

She has extensive experience in conducting image, educational and promotional campaigns related to plastics and the plastics industry. She gained professional experience, among others, as a journalist and editor in the trade press, as well as a technical and legislative manager in an FMCG industry association. She is a chemist by education and holds a PhD in technical sciences (polymer technology) from the Faculty of Chemistry at the Warsaw University of Technology. She also completed postgraduate studies in Social Communication and Media organised by the Foundation for the Promotion of Science and the Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

He heads the Institute for Reform and supervises analytical work focused on climate policy and energy transition. He has over 10 years of experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative assessments of the impact of public policies (including in the areas of innovation, regional development, digitalisation, and sustainable development) and preparing strategic documents. He focuses on creating and managing systemic projects that promote the improvement of public policy in both Poland and Central and Eastern European countries. He gained his experience through the implementation of national and EU research projects, including those under the Horizon 2020 programme, and through consulting for public administration and the private sector. He graduated in economics from the Warsaw School of Economics.

Member of Parliament for the 9th and 10th terms from Wrocław, representing the Naprzód! association and the Civic Coalition Parliamentary Club. In the Sejm, she works in the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development, the Committee on Foreign Affairs, and the Extraordinary Committee on Animal Protection, and is the chair of the Subcommittee on Farm Animal Welfare.

In 2020–2021, she was one of the leaders of the European Young Leaders 2020 program organized by the Friends of Europe think tank, and in March 2022, she took part in the French government's Future Leaders Invitation Program.

From May 2015 to January 2022, she was co-chair of the Green Party, and from June 2022 to December 2025, she was a member of the European Greens Committee. Since September 2025, she has been on the board of the Naprzód association.

She has been active in non-governmental organizations for many years. She has worked for the climate, just transition, biodiversity and nature conservation in the Wrocław-based EKO-UNIA Ecological Association. She has also worked for women's rights in the Lower Silesian Women's Congress Association. She is the author of a bill to ban fur farming, which is likely to come into force later this year.

Expert in climate diplomacy, multilateral international relations and strategic partnership building. She specialises in shaping, implementing and promoting economic, trade and environmental policies at EU and UN forums. She gained her experience at the Ministry of Economy and in cooperation with international organisations such as UNIDO, UNCITRAL and UNFCCC.

Between 2012 and 2017, as a diplomat at the UN in Vienna, she successfully initiated and led projects involving Poland, strengthening its position on the international stage. In 2025, she prepared and successfully led the Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU in the field of global climate negotiations. She graduated in international relations from Adam Mickiewicz University and in law from the Université de Rennes I in France.

Prof. Małgorzata Zaleska is Director of the Banking Institute at the Warsaw School of Economics, Corresponding Member of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and Member of the Supervisory Board of mTFI.

Previously, she was, among others: President of the Management Board of the Bank Guarantee Fund, Member of the Management Board of the International Association of Deposit Insurers, Member of the International Relations Committee at the European Central Bank, Member of the Economic and Financial Committee at the Council of the EU, Member of the Management Board of the National Bank of Poland, and President of the Management Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

Prof. M. Zaleska obtained her PhD in economics in 1997, her postdoctoral degree in economics in 2000, and the title of professor of economic sciences in 2004. She is the author of over 500 publications.
